Cannes Lions for the Lion City: DDB Group Singapore leads the pack
Creative marketing is well, alive and thriving in the Lion City.
That’s the verdict from the International Cannes Advertising Awards.
For the second year in a row, DDB Group returned from Cannes clutching more Lions than any other agency in Singapore. We picked up a gold, three silver and four bronze Lions for four different pieces of work across five categories.
StarHub emerged as the notable winner, picking up a prestigious and very rare Gold Lion.
The Musical Fitting Rooms project for StarHub, the print and poster campaign for the Breast Cancer Foundation, the Nails poster for 3M and the Tree Rings poster for ACRES found favour with the international jury.
It’s no surprise that most of the work that won at Cannes had won big at the EFFIEs.
It reaffirms DDB’s brand of creativity, harnessed for effectiveness.
This year there were a record 29,000 entries at Cannes.
We are pleased that our work ranked amongst the world’s best, which is a fitting tribute to our clients and our people.
