DDB Group Singapore nails 9 Effies in best-ever haul
DDB Group Singapore continues its Effie winning streak clinching nine awards at the Effie Singapore award ceremony last night.
For the seventh year in a row, the DDB Group is the most awarded agency at the Effies, picking up one Gold (J&J SunStopper), three Silvers (Changi Airport, Tiger Airways, Raffles Hotel) and five Bronzes (McDonald’s, StarHub, Health Promotion Board, Ministry of Health and The National Library Board).
“We’re happy to take 9 Effies this year. More importantly, to have done it with the diversity and range of work– online, social creativity, data-mining, event hijacking and on-ground activation. It also shows the quality and depth in our team, with the talent to play multiple games and win,” said David Tang, President and CEO, DDB Group Singapore.
The Johnson & Johnson campaign, developed by DDB, Tribal DDB and RAPP achieved the Gold Effie for its social media execution which saw Johnson & Johnson Neutrogena eclipse the competition by hijacking the worldwide lunar event of 2009.
In total, the DDB Group Singapore has won 41 Effie over the last seven years in Singapore and multiple awards regionally, at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness (AME) Awards.
