DDB Hong Kong wins APAC Effie

DDB Group Hong Kong has won a BRONZE APAC Effie Award for its ‘A New Big Mac for a New Generation’ campaign, marking the agency’s first regional Effie nod.

The agency is recognised for its excellent use of influencer and partnership marketing. The campaign is one of only two campaigns from Hong Kong that won at the APAC Effie Awards 2022. The physical event returned for the first time in three years, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore. It honours the region’s most outstanding marketing communication works that have proven results in meeting strategic objectives.

“Winning an Effie is a monumental accomplishment. Not only is it testament to the exceeding amount of effort and talent from the teams, it is also affirmation from their peers that they have delivered exceptional results and brought success to their brands. Only the most effective works get rewarded with Effies, so congratulations to the teams on their well-deserved wins!” said Nicole McMillan, the 2022 awards chairwoman.

The agency went on to win a further two BRONZE and two MERIT Awards at the Hong Kong Effie Awards for McDonald’s, Octopus, and livi bank.
