DDB Singapore sweeps Loyalty & Engagement Awards

The agency’s hugely successful gamification campaign for VIU topped Marketing Interactive’s Loyalty & Engagement Awards 2022. In addition to winning Best Entry, Brand of the Year, and Agency of the Year, VIU won GOLD for Best Engagement Strategy, Best Use of Rewards & Incentives, Best Online Experience, Best Use of Gamification, Best Use of UI/ UX Design, and Best Loyalty Programme. Added to that is SILVER for Best Customer Experience and Best Use of Contests/ Promotions.

For the campaign, DDB gamified VIU as the nation’s top provider in Korean entertainment. Capitalising on the overlap between VIU users and casual gamers, the agency developed a gaming experience to enjoy an incredible 50 Korean drama series in a month with S$50,000 in cash up for grabs.
