Izmael Crespo joins DDB Hong Kong as Creative Director

DDB Group Hong Kong has appointed multi-award-winning Izmael Crespo as Creative Director. Crespo moved to Hong Kong from Colombia this month, joining the agency with an extensive list of major accolades, including ten Cannes Lions.

Crespo is an art-based Creative Director who has worked with major brands on projects across the globe. He brings not only talent and fame but also a multicultural perspective and hands-on experience delivering brands to gaming environments. Crespo was part of the team responsible for the Corona Lime campaign that recently won China’s first-ever Titanium Lion.

This is the second major hire in the creative department for DDB Group Hong Kong this year, following the appointment of Alejandro Canciobello as Regional Executive Creative Director in April. In his new role, Crespo will report to Canciobello and work on multi-market projects across DDB’s varied client base.

The hires mark the agency’s ambition and commitment to elevating its creative product to a world-class offering.
