Maggie Cheung, Koman Ko step up in Hong Kong

DDB Group Hong Kong is bolstering its leadership team with the promotions of Maggie Cheung and Koman Ko to managing partners. Previously group business directors, the pair will now expand their remit to include overall day-to-day operations, new business growth, talent development, and further elevation of DDB’s agency culture. Working alongside CEO Andreas Krasser, both Cheung and Ko have been part of the management team since 2019, driving the agency’s strategic and creative output.

A DDB’er since 2017, Cheung has played a crucial role in helping McDonald’s significantly enhance its emotional and digital connectivity with customers. In her new capacity, she will continue to lead the account. Ko joined the agency in 2010 and has since spearheaded the acquisition of important new business wins, including Danone and Henderson Land plus recent projects for Garden and Campbell’s.

“What I admire most about Koman and Maggie is, they’re not only ‘doers’, but also fantastic when it comes to creating and driving culture,” said Krasser.

“I can’t wait to see how they will help bring more fun to our industry and shape the agency into a true talent magnet.”
