Naga DDB Tribal’s ‘Boo!bies’ campaign empowers women

Inspired by Halloween, Naga DDB Tribal has teamed up with Pantai Hospital KL to launch a campaign with a spooky theme for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The campaign is part of Naga DDB Tribal’s She Speaks Power initiative, which aims to create a community for professional women to come together and collaborate, share, and learn from each other.

The ‘Boo!bies’ campaign sets out to equip women to detect the early signs of breast cancer and prevent unwanted scares. Fronted by three ghostly mascots, the effort included an all-day women’s health event for all Nagarians to receive guided breast examinations, attend a health talk by Dr. Saladina Jaszle Jasmin, and digest a day of learning in a post-event social.

The mascots – serving up a lighthearted reminder for regular self-checks – also feature on a collection of in-house designed limited-edition merchandise, including t-shirts, tote bags, and stickers, available for purchase at the event.

“Breast cancer is undeniably a daunting subject, so the task for the team was to make it engaging and enjoyable to learn without trivialising the topic,” said Farrah Harith McPherson, Chief Growth Officer of Naga DDB Tribal.
